With little at stake for either team in terms of league position, both sides played with attacking freedom, although the lack of quality in the final third was evident. Toney, in particular, struggled to make an impact due to limited service from his teammates.
The draw sees Fulham move up to 12th place on goal difference, while Brentford remains in 16th position. Toney’s goal drought continues, raising questions about his potential inclusion in the England squad for Euro 2024.
