Sedan Overturns in Crash

A speeding sedan lost control, toppled a palm tree, and overturned on a median in Pattaya, leaving the driver with minor injuries.

Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Rescue Center was alerted to a car accident near the Khao Talo traffic light intersection in the Nongprue sub-district, Banglamung district, Chonburi province. Rescue volunteers rushed to the scene.

Upon arrival, they found a white Honda Civic overturned on its side in the median. The car had collided with a large road sign and a palm tree, sustaining heavy damage. The driver, identified as 36-year-old Mr. Chayapat Nuchthongkham, suffered minor injuries. Rescue workers administered first aid before transporting him to the hospital.

Eyewitnesses reported that the sedan had been speeding alongside a pickup truck when a motorcycle abruptly entered its lane, causing the driver to lose control and overturn on the median.

Authorities are reviewing CCTV footage to establish the exact cause of the accident, and the driver may be held responsible for the damages.
