A new road made of para rubber was opened (Dec 27, 2018) in the southern Thai province of Satun, the Thai-language daily Khao Sod reported.
The road construction is part of the government’s plan to boost the use of para rubber, which is widely grown in the southern part of the country.
Each one-kilometer stretch requires 1.8 tons of para rubber to pave a 5-centimeter-thick surface of the road.
