A rider was injured in a crash involving his motorcycle and a parked truck in Huay Yai early Saturday morning. The Huay Yai Police were alerted to the incident along Huay Yai Road. Pattaya News and emergency responders arrived to find a severely damaged motorcycle with its front wheel detached.
The rider, identified only as Mr. Teerapat, 21, from Sakhon Nakhon, suffered a broken right leg and was transported to a nearby hospital. About ten meters away, an ice truck was parked. The truck driver, Mr. Napat, 52, was waiting at the scene. He told Pattaya News that his truck had been previously struck by a minivan driven by someone who had fallen asleep at the wheel. Napat was waiting for his insurance company when the motorcycle crashed into the rear of his stationary truck.
