Man spits on 7/11 employee’s face

Man spits

A man spits on an employee’s face who was working at a local 7/11 convenience store in Pathum Thani Province. Rage took over after the man was denied entry as he was not wearing a mask, posing danger towards himself and other customers in the store.

The man was unhappy and spit right in the face of the employee who denied his entry on 11 April 2020. Yesterday (15 April 2020) the man gave himself up to the police after a strong backlash from the community.

There is security footage showing the whole incident taken in front of the convenience store at around 20.00. The store was located in a PTT Station branch in Lam Luk Ka District, Klong 4, Pathum Thani Province.

An employee was standing in front of the store with hand sanitizing spray and an infrared thermometer to filter customers coming into the store due to the Covid-19 situation.

The man walked towards the store and was informed that he couldn’t enter due to the store safety measures required all customers and employees to wear a mask at all times while inside the store.

The man was not happy and spit onto the employee’s face, the security footage captured everything. The man had shoulder-length hair, wearing a green sports shirt, short pants, and yellow flip flops.

The convenience store’s branch manager stated that no information can be given addressing the incident according to the head office rules, but it has been confirmed that the incident took place at the branch. Strict safety measures must be taken to minimize any possible spread of the Coronavirus.

The employee went to file a report with Police Major Tharapong Phumtinwer at the Ku Kot Police Station in Pathum Thani.

The suspect came to give himself up to the Ku Kot Police. When asked why he did such a thing the man responded that he was just joking around with the employee and didn’t expect it to be such a big deal.
