Koh samui karaoke bust, underage girls offered for bht 2000
An undercover team of police in Koh Samui carried out a sting and busted a karaoke lounge last night for offering underage girls for sex
Officers posing as customers went to the Isan Karaoke in Bo Phut.
As soon as they arrived three girls were brought out and a price of 6,000 baht was agreed.
Arrested were the owner Sukanya Phadaeng, described as both 26 and 28 in the Thai Rath story, and the manager, a ladyboy going by the name of “Joy”.
The owner said she had been in business for a year and her girls mostly came from the north east of Thailand.
They got 100 baht an hour for sitting in the lounge and talking to customers.
If they went for sex the charge was 2,000 baht with the girl keeping 1,700 baht and the lounge 300 baht.
