KEVIN Spacey could be charged by British cops over six historic sexual assault allegations.
Police have handed the case files to the Crown Prosecution Service, who will now decide if the 61-year-old Hollywood actor will be charged.
The 61-year-old was interviewed under caution by The Met in 2019.
He wasn’t arrested but spoke to officers about a number of allegations between 1996 and 2013 in London and Gloucester.
A source told MailOnline: “Due to the high-profile nature of the allegations they will take all the time they need to made a decision.
“The file was sent late last year and has been considered for a few months already.”
The CPS confirmed they were now looking at the file of evidence.
In 2017 the actor Antony Rapp accused him of sexually assaulting him at the age of 14.
Rapp was the first alleged victim to come forward, claiming that Spacey – who was 26 at the time – had made a sexual advance upon him in 1986.
ALLEGATIONS PROBED
In total, more than 30 men claimed that they had been victims of Kevin’s unwanted advances.
London’s Old Vic theatre, where Spacey was an artistic director from 2004 to 2015, also apologised as it revealed it had received 20 allegations of inappropriate behaviour.
Theatre bosses said a “cult of personality” had contributed to the organisation’s failings.
Spacey has denied all allegations against him and the final US criminal case was closed in July 2019, but police in London are probing sex harassment claims during the star’s time at the Old Vic.
He was stripped of an International Emmy Award and his acclaimed Netflix series House of Cards killed off his central character as they axed him from the show.
He was seen for the first time in months wearing a wedding ring in London.
The actor looked relaxed as he went on a bike ride around the capital.
