Huge Drug Trafficking Ring is Busted by the Police

The Governor of Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, Mr. Niwat Rungsakhon, and other pertinent officials attended a press conference to announce the arrest of five alleged drug trafficking suspects.
The only individuals publicly identified as the alleged drug smugglers were Mr. Athit, 33, Mr. Saranyu, 25, Mr. Amarin, 40, Mr. Witawat, 31, and Mr. Phapan, 35.

3,600,000 amphetamine pills with a street value of about 37,000,000 baht as well as vehicles utilized for drug trafficking and surveillance were the items in question.
According to Niwat, police officers and other relevant officials had been conducting an ongoing investigation into incidents involving illegal substances, which had resulted in the arrest of numerous drug dealers. Police discovered a connection to a drug trafficking kingpin who was now on the run in a neighboring nation and was only known publicly as Ms. Jamjira or “Cake” during the inquiry.
According to the report, the five alleged drug traffickers moved amphetamine from the Northeast of Thailand to the center of the country. However, narcotics traffickers cautioned other participants at a police checkpoint up ahead. The accused then fled to Ban Phraek Hospital in Ban Phraek, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, where they hid until they were quickly apprehended.

There were still some more accused suspects at large. Relevant police officers promised to launch an additional investigation to identify and prosecute the accused offenders.
