Fruit seller wins Feb 1st Thai Lottery

After winning 30 million baht in the government lottery, a fruit vendor in Rayong went bananas.

Pongpat Witithep, 33, registered his five winning first-place tickets with Rayong police on February 1 in order to claim his prize.

Buying the same number from a market in Pluak Daeng District 5 such numbers unexpectedly won a big prize and knowing that they won a grand prize of 30 million baht, they were so happy that they couldn’t speak properly. Pongpat claimed to have purchased the winning tickets at a flea market in the Pluakdaeng District, selecting the final two numbers 11 because he like having two digits.
