Foreign Tourist Slapped by Transgender Individual in Pattaya After Dispute Over Parked Motorcycle
A foreign tourist was slapped by a transgender individual in Pattaya following a heated argument over a parked motorcycle, raising concerns about the city’s reputation as a tourist destination.
Incident Caught on Video
At 1:06 AM on March 17th, local reporters received two video clips capturing the altercation. The footage showed a group of transgender individuals surrounding the tourist, engaging in a verbal dispute. One individual, dressed in black, was seen slapping the foreigner, who then pushed their head in response, provoking anger from others in the group. However, the situation did not escalate further.
Another individual in a cream-colored outfit was also seen shouting at the tourist during the confrontation.
Eyewitness Account
Reporters later spoke with one of the individuals involved, identified as Nong Fahsai, a 24-year-old LGBTQ individual. Fahsai explained that before the argument, the group had been sitting and chatting on the tourist’s motorcycle.
When the tourist arrived, he confronted them, questioning why they were using his motorcycle and asking if they had their own. Fahsai and the group found his tone condescending, which led to the argument. However, Fahsai insisted that the altercation did not become violent and ended with both parties walking away.

Local residents have voiced concerns over the incident, urging authorities to address such disputes to protect Pattaya’s image as a world-class, family-friendly tourist destination.
