Fire Destroys Two Homes in Pattaya, Injures Two Residents

A devastating fire broke out in a residential area in Pattaya, destroying two homes and injuring two residents who attempted to save their belongings.
Emergency Response
At 1:00 PM on March 23rd, Nongprue Police received a report of a fire in Soi Thung Klom-Tanman 15. Officers quickly responded alongside three fire trucks from Nongprue Municipality and rescue workers from the Sawang Boriboon Foundation.
Firefighting Efforts
Upon arrival, authorities found semi-concrete, semi-wooden houses with metal roofs engulfed in flames. The fire spread rapidly, producing thick smoke that forced the evacuation of over 20 residents to safety. Firefighters worked for more than 45 minutes to bring the blaze under control.
Damage and Injuries
Initial inspections revealed that two houses were completely destroyed, with all belongings inside reduced to ashes. Two individuals suffered burns while attempting to retrieve their possessions:

Mr. Uthai, 44 – Sustained burns on his right arm and face.

Ms. Srisuda, 40 – Suffered burns on both hands.
Both were injured while running through the flames to save their belongings.
Possible Cause of the Fire
Mr. Uthai, the owner of the house where the fire originated, stated that he was working inside his room when he suddenly heard an explosion. However, he could not determine the source as he was wearing headphones at the time.

Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fire to determine its origin and prevent future incidents.
