The general election is on Sunday, and today (Friday) is the last day for candidates running for parliamentary seats to campaign. As a result, numerous significant political parties have planned large rallies throughout Bangkok.
Thai Party Pheu
In the province of Nonthaburi, the rally will take place at Impact Arena Muang Thong Thani. After giving birth to her second child around two weeks ago, Paetongtarn Shinawatra, the leader of the Pheu Thai “Family” and one of the party’s candidates for prime minister, will return to the stage.
The demonstration on Friday will have the slogan “Vote for a Pheu Thai landslide, Thailand changes now” as its subject. Speakers at the ceremony also included Chonlanan Srikaew, the leader of the party, Srettha Thavisin, another Pheu Thai contender for prime minister, and Surapong Suebwonglee.
The rally begins at 6 p.m., and the gates open at 4 p.m.
Party of Palang Pracharath
The Palang Pracharath Party of Deputy Prime Minister Prawit Wongsuwan chose the Kilaveth 2 Building at the Thai-Japanese Stadium in Din Daeng as the location for their final rally. Prawit and party executive member Sakoltee Phattiyakul will lead the demonstration, which runs from 2pm to 6pm. “Move beyond the conflicts” is their motto.
Advancement Party
The Kilaveth 1 Building and a football field close to a swimming pool in the Thai-Japanese Stadium in Din Daeng were chosen as the location for the Move Forward Party’s big rally, which was led by Pita Limjaroenrat.
“Move Forward Party – Sweeping the Country” will be the slogan. Pita and other top party officials will preside over the rally. The rally begins at 6 p.m., and the gates open at 4 p.m.
Thai National Union Party
The Queen Sirikit National Convention Center’s Exhibition Hall will host a rally for the United Thai Nation Party, which is running the current prime minister, Prayuth Chan-o-cha, for the position of prime minister.
The rally will be led by Pirapan Salirathavibhaga and Prayuth. Don’t let Lung Tu battle alone will be the event’s theme. Come out and defend the nation. Join the United Thai Nation Party together. (Prayuth goes by the moniker “Lung Tu”)
The rally will take place from 4 till 7.30.
party bhumjaithai
From 4 pm to 9 pm, the Bhumjaithai Party will host a rally in Show DC near Rama IX.
Anutin Charnvirakul, the party’s head and a prime ministerial contender, will address the crowd among other party officials.
Republican Party
The location was chosen by Jurin Laksanawisit, the head of the Democratic Party and a contender for prime minister, at Larn Kon Muang in front of the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration. Abhisit Vejjajiva, a former party leader and premier, will speak before Jurin leads the gathering. At 5:00 p.m., the rally begins.
Party of Thai Sang
The Paragon Shopping Complex’s Parc Paragon was chosen as the rally location by the Sudarat Keyuraphan Thai Sang Thai Party. The three prime ministerial contenders for the party, Sudarat, Supant Mongkolsuthree, and Sita Tiwari, will serve as the event’s leaders. The event will take place from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m.
Pattana Kla Party Chart
Between 6 and 8 o’clock, the Chart Pattana Kla Party will host a rally at the Rama Gardens Hotel on Vibhavadi Rangsit Road.
The event will be led and addressed by the party’s prime ministerial candidate, Korn Chatikavanij. “Let’s join to build a country of opportunities, fight monopoly capital,” is their rallying cry. We are industry pioneers.
