City officials in Pattaya revealed plans on Sunday, March 11th, to enhance lanes on Chaiyapruek Road leading towards Sukhumvit Road as a measure to alleviate traffic congestion in the vicinity.
The initiative includes establishing designated left-turn lanes along Chaiyapruek Road with the aim of enhancing traffic movement and alleviating congestion. Mr. Worapot Phongphali, Assistant Secretary to the Mayor of Pattaya, along with Mr. Praiwan Aromchuen, Deputy Head of the Pattaya City Council, conducted a site visit to the Chaiyapruek intersection on Sunday to evaluate the situation and gather essential information for the project.
Mr. Worapot emphasized, “This expansion is geared towards enhancing public convenience and addressing traffic challenges encountered by motorists in this area. Through the creation of dedicated left-turn lanes, we anticipate a notable enhancement in traffic flow.”
