In an intense incident at a condominium in Wat Boonyakanchana Ram, Nongprue, Bang Lamung, Chonburi, an Englishman reportedly sustained injuries during a physical altercation with his partner at around 03:00 on January 30, 2024.
The Pattaya Rescue Unit swiftly responded to the assault call, working alongside local police and sending rescue personnel to the location. Upon arrival on the 7th floor, Room B4-701, responders found Ms. Chanyapak Thannakulyawit, 27, in tears with a severe wound on her right hand, bleeding profusely and staining the room. Paramedics provided immediate assistance, while the injured person’s husband remained present to provide a statement to the police.
According to Ms. Chanyapak, the argument became heated and she attempted to grab a 15-centimeter fruit knife. Failing to overpower her husband, he took hold of the knife and swung it in a threatening manner. During the struggle, she sustained the injuries mentioned.
Pattaya City Police officials from the Muang Pattaya station have summoned the foreign husband to the Khao Talo Substation of the Pattaya City Police Station for a comprehensive inquiry into the circumstances surrounding this incident.
