On July 27, a pickup truck caught fire near Lotus’ North Pattaya location, averting a potentially disastrous catastrophe. A potential roadside catastrophe was averted thanks to the fast thinking of the vehicle’s owner, Sawang Nambamrung, and the prompt response of the disaster prevention team.
Sawang Nambamrung informed police that he was on his way to work at the time of the incident when he spotted smoke coming from the engine compartment of his pickup vehicle. He swiftly moved his vehicle to the side of the road, away from traffic, and notified police.
The disaster prevention team hurried to the scene and battled the flames for 10 minutes, successfully extinguishing the fire. Fortunately, no one was hurt in the scuffle.
