The deputy chief of a Nakhon Nayok police station was found dead in his car with a charcoal stove in Chon Buri.
Police said the body of Pol Lt-Colonel Ekkaraj Apiwat, 51, deputy chief of Ban Na police station in Nakhon Nayok, was found in his Suzuki Swift car parked on a seaside road in Chon Buri’s Muang district on Thursday morning. Local residents had spotted the car parked there on Wednesday evening and when it was still there in the morning they checked it and found the body. Police found a stove with burned charcoal and a suicide note in the car. NT – EP
