Chinese tourist found hanged in a Pattaya rental apartment

Early this morning, a Chinese tourist’s body was discovered in his Pattaya flat. Early this morning, rescuers from the Sawang Boriboon Thamasathan Foundation and Pattaya Police were summoned to the site in Chon Buri province’s Nongprue sub-districts Soi Chaloem Phra Kiat 21.

When they got there, they saw the body of a Chinese man hanging in a room on the second floor, with a rope around his neck and linked to the doorknob in the bathroom. The room was filled with a powerful, disagreeable odor. As per customary journalistic practice, the name of the Chinese visitor has been concealed until his family and embassy have been informed.

According to the officials, people not involved in the inquiry were not allowed entry into the room. A medical team from Banglamung Hospital inspected the body and discovered an empty beer bottle as the only indication of a physical attack or property violation. The Chinese visitor had been renting the room alone since April, according to Kruawan, the 31-year-old owner of the facility.

She was worried since he typically came downstairs to drink beer every day, but she hadn’t seen him in two days. When Kruawan made the decision to check on the man, he found the key in the door. She opened the door to discover the victim’s lifeless body leaning up against the bathroom door with his legs spread wide.

She called the cops as soon as she left the room. The Chinese tourist had frequently discussed suicide before the tragedy, according to Kruawan. A nearby hospital has received the man’s body in order to identify the precise cause of death.
