Speeding car crashed into a solar panel store in Pattaya, leaving two people injured early yesterday morning. The driver attributed the accident to his unfamiliarity with the road.
Nongprue police were alerted to the incident at the intersection of Jomtien Second Road, in the Nongprue sub-district, Banglamung district, Chonburi province. Police and rescue workers quickly responded to the scene, joined by reporters from The Pattaya News.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a black Subaru sedan that had lost control and plowed into the solar panel store. The storefront’s glass was shattered, and the car was severely damaged inside the shop. Two individuals were injured: Mr. Katiphot, the 38-year-old driver, and Mr. Piyaboot, 42, who sustained minor injuries. Rescue workers administered first aid before transporting them to the hospital. A third individual, Mr. Thosaphon, 40, later arrived, claiming to be another driver involved in the incident.
CCTV footage from the area captured the vehicle speeding before losing control and crashing into the store.
