A man suspected of being a member of a call centre scam gang has been arrested for allegedly stealing the Bt1.18 million lifetime savings of a maid.
The arrest of Chaiyasin Rossathuek, 34, from Angthong, was announced on Friday by Bang Khun Thian police station chief Pol Colonel Pong-anan Klaiklueng.
Pong-anan said Chaiyasin was wanted under an arrest warrant dated May 10.
He was arrested at a house in Nakhon Pathom’s Buddha Monthon district, where police also seized a Fortuner SUV, 23 bank books and 10 ATMs
