A man from Samut Sakhon, who has been offering penis enlargement treatments for 20 years without any medical training, was arrested after one of his clients developed a serious infection.
Kittikorn Songsri, 36, was apprehended in a sting operation on Thursday at his townhouse in Om Noi, Krathum Baen district, where he performed silicone injections and pearl implants.
According to Pol Maj Gen Witthaya Sriprasertparb, commander of the Consumer Protection Police Division (CPPD), Kittikorn confessed to having only completed Grade 9 (Mathayom Suksa 3) and began self-teaching how to perform implants when he was 14.
The arrest came after a complaint surfaced about Kittikorn’s services, which included pearl implants, silicone injections, and filler treatments for penis enlargement, promoted through his Facebook page “Mai Luai Modify.”
One customer reported a severe infection following a silicone injection, leaving him in pain and unable to achieve an erection despite treatment.
In collaboration with the Department of Health Service Support, CPPD officers sent an undercover agent posing as a potential customer. Upon the agent’s arrival at Kittikorn’s townhouse, police raided the location and arrested him. Authorities found unhygienic conditions, with beds and equipment that did not meet health standards.
During interrogation, Kittikorn admitted to having no medical qualifications and running an unlicensed clinic. He had been charging between 5,000 and 20,000 baht per client for his services, typically seeing two to three customers each month over the past two decades.
He now faces charges of operating an illegal medical clinic and practicing medicine without a license. Kittikorn remains in custody at CPPD sub-division 4 while awaiting legal proceedings.
Pol Maj Gen Witthaya cautioned the public about the risks associated with unapproved penis enlargement procedures, including infections and erectile dysfunction. He also urged unlicensed practitioners to cease their activities or risk arrest.
