A 63-year-old man was killed in a motorcycle accident, which occurred in Chon Buri province’s busy Phanat Nikhom area. During the event, a second motorcycle rider also suffered injuries. On Tuesday, September 5, the accident happened on the busy Sukprayoon Road in the Ban Serd sub-district.
When local police started looking into the motorcycle crash, they concluded that Sawet Chathaisong, who is now dead, was about to make a quick right turn into the right-hand traffic lane. Another motorcycle rider, Ekarin Yottrakot, 24, who was reportedly moving at a fast pace, struck him during this maneuver.
Both riders were thrown into the road due to the collision’s severe impact. Sawet was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, but Ekarin suffered only moderate injuries, including ear bleeding. Following the mishap, he is currently in a stable condition, according to The Pattaya News.
The Phanat Nikhom Police Station’s Lieutenant Colonel Ananpha Panagat is in charge of the investigation into what caused the disaster.
Ampai Saelao, age 62, a local vendor of products, was present when the motorcycle accident occurred. According to her, such accidents are frequent in this area due to the busy character of the neighborhood and its use as a major route and a U-turn location.
Since the road is located in a busy neighborhood, accidents like this one happen frequently.
