Police were joined by two models in Santa costumes as they handed out candy sticks to tourists on Walking Street in Pattaya on Christmas Eve.
Vice President of Pattaya City Praramat Nampichat joined officers as they walked down the bustling bar-filled tourist destination handing out the treats to revellers from around the world.
Paramat said that police and city officials wanted to promote a good atmosphere for the festival. He said: ”This creates a good image and a safe environment for tourists that want to relax at this world class destination. We want to create a warm feeling for holidaymakers, especially on Walking Street, which has a lot of people who come here to use the service.”
