RULES & REGULATION CHANGE FOR BLIND MASSEURS
Blind masseurs and masseuses who completed their training at formal institutes before September 27, 2016, are being asked to register as legal practitioners with the Department of Health Service Support by December 23.
Deputy spokesman Dr Pattarapon Jungsomjatepaisal said anyone failing to register by then would have to comply with the terms of a new regulation.
The regulation says only blind masseurs who graduated from institutes certified by the department can be registered.
Registration is done at the department’s Health Business Center in Nonthaburi or any provincial public health office.
