Tourist Robbed of Expensive Necklace
A Chinese tourist in Pattaya was robbed of a valuable platinum necklace after being approached by three transgender individuals who allegedly offered sexual services near Pattaya Beach. The incident occurred around 2:00 AM on November 3rd, prompting a swift response from Pattaya police following the report.

Upon arrival, officers found the victim, 37-year-old Mr. Shen Yanqing, waiting with a friend to provide a statement. Mr. Shen explained that he was visiting Pattaya and staying at a hotel in Central Pattaya. While enjoying the vibrant nighttime atmosphere at the beach, he was approached by the trio, who tried to distract him with hugs and touches after offering their services. However, Mr. Shen and his friend declined and walked away. Upset by the rejection, the group quickly left the scene.

In less than three minutes, Mr. Shen realized that his platinum necklace, valued at over 120,000 baht, was missing. He believed the group had stolen it and attempted to locate them but was unsuccessful. Subsequently, he reported the theft to the police.

Pattaya police are currently reviewing CCTV footage, which is expected to show the suspects during the incident and their escape. The investigation is ongoing.
