Volunteers to help Traffic Congestion

Pattaya City held a meeting to tackle its ongoing traffic congestion issues. The session, chaired by Wikit Manarotkit, District Chief of Banglamung, brought together representatives from Pattaya, Banglamung, and Nongprue police stations, along with other relevant agencies.

The primary goal of the meeting was to devise strategies to manage the city’s increasing traffic load. A key initiative discussed was the training of volunteers and Pattaya municipal officers in advanced traffic management techniques. This training aims to alleviate the burden on the police, who are currently overwhelmed by the growing number of vehicles and residents.

One notable proposal from the meeting was the establishment of a specialized task force to oversee staff deployment at critical intersections and high-traffic areas during peak times. This task force is expected to improve traffic flow for both residents and visitors, addressing one of Pattaya’s most urgent issues.
