On Valentine’s Day, a tragic incident occurred at a salon in Don Hua Lo Sub-district, Chonburi, leaving Wanpen, aged 31, severely injured with deep cuts on both legs, leading to significant bleeding and shock.
According to witness Suchat, who was delivering a parcel at the time, he heard cries for help and discovered Wanpen attempting to flee the salon with visible wounds. He provided assistance to her and promptly called for help. Wanpen was promptly attended to by rescue workers and swiftly transported to the hospital for treatment.
The alleged assailant, Kung, aged 56, claimed that upon returning home concerned about his 4-year-old child, he was confronted with a distressing situation. Kung purportedly saw another man downstairs and one in bed with his partner. Feeling enraged, he admitted to throwing a glass photo-frame at Wanpen but denied using a knife. He maintained that if he had found anything else in the spur of the moment, he might have used it to cause harm.
