The Jet Ski Sports Association of Thailand (JSSAT) has extended an invitation to Pattaya City to hold the coveted King’s Cup – Jet Ski World Cup championship later this year at Jomtien Beach.In order to secure Pattaya City’s support as the host of the international jet ski championships, Mr. Parikhet Suebsahakarn, the Director of the JSSAT, met with Mr. Poramase Ngamphiches, the Mayor of Pattaya, and other city officials on June 23.
According to Parikhet, the JSSAT wants Pattaya to host the exciting King’s Cup – Jet Sk World Cup competition, which will take place there from December 13 to December 17, 2023, with competitors coming from all over the world to compete for the title.
Poramase expressed his happiness at being the host of this esteemed international sporting event. He said that the competition would enhance Pattaya’s energetic atmosphere in addition to drawing tourists to see the thrilling action.The event has been held in Pattaya for a number of years, and it even went on without spectators during the Covid-19 pandemic. It is usually a dramatic multi-day event that takes place on Jomtien Beach close to the night market area.
Since the cup falls in the middle of December, the busiest travel period in Pattaya, thousands of visitors are anticipated.
