World’s first English ‘dhamma reality show’ to be broadcast on TrueVisions

The first international dhamma reality television show conducted in English will be held on July 1 at a temple in Ubon Ratchathani province.

“True Little Monk: A Wisdom Training Programme for Novices” is backed by Charoen Pokphand Group and True Corporation and will be broadcast via TrueVisions.

The documentary show is an international offshoot of the True Little Monk Project.

Twelve candidates from Britain, France, Australia, New Zealand, Kenya, China, Nepal and other countries will learn and practice the Buddha’s teachings under the concept “Compassion & Kindness: Learn – Live – Love – Let go” at Wat Pa Sia Ngam in Det Udom District under the guidance of abbot master Phrakhru Nikrotthammaphon (Luang Ta Anek Yasadinno) and abbot Phrakhru Ubonbhavanaviteht (Ajahn Kevali) of Wat Pah Nanachat, together with Thai and international monks from the Wat Nong Pah Pong branch.
