Women has First AstraZeneca vaccination on Tuesday and dies

A 46-year-old woman who died hours after receiving her first AstraZeneca vaccination on Tuesday succumbed to a heart attack, according to autopsy results released on Friday

The woman died at her home in Bangkok’s Bang Khen district after suffering a migraine following her vaccination on Tuesday.

Dr Atthasit Dul-Amnuay, head of Bhumibol Adulyadej Hospital’s forensic medicine department, gave the following timeline for the deceased.

June 8

11.45am: Receives Covid-19 jab at Thai Business Administration Technological College’s vaccination station.

Does not report any side effects.

Develops fever and fatigue after arriving at home.

10pm: Suffers a seizure and loses consciousness. Neighbour administers CPR and ambulance is called.

11.10pm: Pronounced dead from unknown cause by medic.
