Woman finds 3-metre-long python in car bonnet

A Pathum Thani apartment owner was shocked to see a three-metre-long python when she opened the hood of her car to check the engine before departing for a merit-making trip on Friday morning.

Following the complaint by the shocked 63-year-old Supa Phurithanasarn, the Pathum Thani Radio Communication Centre’s “Asorapit Than 20” snake-capturing team promptly went to remove the snake from the car, which was parked in front of the apartment in the Klong Luang district of Pathum Thani province.

As the snake was captured and kept in a sack, neighbours and onlookers gathered to witness and take pictures of the operation.

The python would be later released in Nakhon Ratchasima province’s Khao Yai National Park, team official Amnat Saengsawang said.

He also advised people against capturing snakes on their own but to instead alert police division 191 so the officers could contact the nearest snake-capturing experts to do it safely. Thai Visa
