A 16-year-old man was badly hurt after a fight between two groups of youths at the skateboarding park Bali Hai Pier in South Pattaya. Following a complaint of the occurrence, police responded quickly and hurried the victim to Bangkok Pattaya Hospital for immediate medical care. The argument started when a group of teenagers—both male and female—aged 14 to 17 confronted another group made up of roughly 15 to 20 males in the same age range. The bigger group assaulted the male victim after attempts to settle the dispute amicably failed, leaving him with serious wounds. Witness Miss Sa (assumed name), 15, stated that the altercation started as a result of an earlier argument between two females. She and her companions attempted to stop the violence, but it persisted, so she called the police for help.
To find and capture those involved, authorities are conducting a comprehensive investigation, scrutinizing security footage, and obtaining witness accounts.
