The EC will announce the 475 constituencies’ Election results sooner than 60 days

In order to allow coalition parties to form a government, the Election Commission (EC) is anticipated to publicly disclose the election results for 475 of the 500 electoral constituencies—or 95% of the votes cast. Earlier than the required 60 days.

Itthiporn said the EC can call a recount of votes in particular polling units, organize a new election in a particular area or constituency, or hold a fresh election if irregularities are discovered if vote counts are incorrect.

The chairman of the EC stated that election officials are gathering evidence to be presented to the EC for consideration in relation to the complaint involving the purported ownership of shares in the iTV media company by Pita Limjaroenrat, the head of the Move Forward party.

He stated that he was unable to predict whether or when the case would be sent to the Constitutional Court for review.
