Originally from Gävle, Iamchaeng claimed she was coerced into various activities upon arriving in Norrköping. She asserted that her intention was simply to buy headphones when the shooting occurred unexpectedly, prompting her to flee the scene.
In addition to the life sentence for murder, Iamchaeng was also convicted of attempted murder and serious weapons offenses.
