Tour guide falls to death from Pattaya hotel

This morning a Thai tour guide who deals with Chinese visitors plummeted to his death from the fourth storey of a nearby hotel.

About 6.30 am, Pattaya police were called to the Malibu City Place hotel when 48-year-old Puwasit Chailangka was discovered dead in the parking lot next to the hotel.

According to the police, the man fell from Room 42 on the hotel’s fourth story, which has five floors.

Kachornsak Jongmangkang, a 30-year-old hotel receptionist, reported to police that he heard a loud crash at 6 am and initially believed a power transformer had exploded. The alarm then started to sound.

When he tracked the sound, he discovered that a cell phone was making it. When he saw the body, he dialed 911.

Police were looking into it.
