Thai House of Representatives Committee Visits Pattaya’s Soi 6 for Tourism Study
Study on Tourist Attraction Management in Chonburi
Pattaya – On March 2, 2025, at 7:00 PM, Mr. Ekkathanat Inrod, Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee, led a team to Pattaya to assess the management of tourist attractions and identify challenges in Chonburi’s tourism sector.
The delegation was welcomed by key officials, including Pol. Maj. Gen. Kritsana Warit, Deputy Commander of the Tourist Police Bureau, Pol. Col. Man Rotthong, Director of Tourist Police Division 2, Division 1, and Mr. Patcharaphat Srithananon, Bang Lamung District Chief. Representatives from Pattaya City and Pattaya City Police Station were also present.
Three-Day Tourism Study Tour
The committee planned a three-day study visit from March 1 to March 3, 2025.

Day 1: Koh Larn Exploration
The group visited Koh Larn, engaging with tourists and local business owners to understand their experiences and challenges in the island’s tourism sector. -
Day 2: Tourism Insights from Pattaya
The delegation visited various tourist hotspots in Pattaya, including barber shops in Soi 6, a well-known area for foreign visitors. They also explored cultural and historic sites that attract international tourists.
Improving Tourism Management
The visit aimed to gather insights from tourists and business operators to enhance tourism management and visitor experiences. The findings will be compiled and presented to the House of Representatives Committee for further discussion and potential policy improvements.
