A small burial in a wooded area was where Suraphltchaya Khamsa’s remains were discovered by police three miles after Woramet Ben Taota’s body was discovered.
Three kilometers from where his body was recovered last week, the girlfriend of a murdered British boy was discovered dead in northern Thailand.
Police discovered the 15-year-old girl’s body in a small grave in a wooded area not far from where Woramet Ben Taota, a dual national who was allegedly slain on May 7, was discovered.
The primary suspect, 44-year-old Chaiwat Boongarin, a notorious drug dealer who was released from prison eight months ago, is still being questioned by police.
Additionally, they are looking into the likelihood that the deceased girl, Suraphltchaya Khamsa, commonly known as Ping Pong, lured Woramet to his death by asking for his assistance in purchasing narcotics from Chaiwat, the person she was dating.According to the police, Chaiwat has acknowledged killing Woramet but has denied killing Suraphltchaya. If found guilty in one or both trials, he might receive the death penalty.
The person who admits to killing the boy also claims not to have killed the girl. According to him, she was attacked by someone else, who then buried her body in the forest, said Mongkol Sampawapol, head of the Lampang Provincial Police. “The female victim’s body is now being sent to the hospital for an autopsy to find traces of rape or sexual assault, because the suspect has a history of these crimes,” he stated.
Her face showed traces of bruises, and it is presumed that she was struck by a heavy item before she passed away.
Woramet and Suraphltchaya were last spotted riding a motorcycle together on the Saturday before he was killed. Early that afternoon, they had gone to see her grandfather.
The following morning, Woramet was discovered in a jungle with head wounds.
His other girlfriend, Yam, who goes by the nickname, was initially reported missing but was later located safe and exonerated of any wrongdoing in the matter.
Chaiwat was detained after being seen on surveillance footage moving about the neighborhood while operating a black Honda motorcycle that caused the tragedy. Later, before switching to a new bike, he attempted to conceal the car in a friend’s shed.Although he admitted to killing Ben, he steadfastly declined to provide any information regarding Suraphltchaya’s disappearance.
According to Thai media, the suspect told police that he had arranged to meet the child for a heroin trade, but an argument ensued when Chaiwat thought the boy had stolen something and was deceiving him.
Chaiwat claimed that after becoming enraged with the youngster, he seized a piece of wood and beat him till he passed away.
The two teenagers were childhood friends, according to Woramet’s father Stephen Graham, who traveled to Thailand from the UK after learning of his son’s passing. He added that authorities do, however, think Suraphltchaya developed a drug habit and arranged the encounter with Chaiwat. This young girl set up some kind of honey trap where Ben was enticed to meet his killer, he said Mail Online.
She’s only fifteen. Ben and she had been friends since they were kids. They were nearby, he claimed. But it’s thought that she had a romantic involvement with Chaiwat.
“It is evident that he was a prolific drug dealer, and he had just been freed from prison. An extremely bad dude.
Earlier this week, Mr. Graham of Eastbourne, East Sussex, accosted Chaiwat during a police simulation of the incident, yelling, “Look at me in the eye you bastard,” through the window of a police car.
Ben can be seen riding motorcycles and taking part in motocross competitions in photos posted on his social media accounts. He and Suraphltchaya are claimed to have been buddies since they were children because they both grew up in the same village.
