A Frenchman, 52 years old, was discovered dead in the first floor lobby. He’d sustained serious brain trauma. On the ground, near the blood, was a metal hammer. No mention was made of who located the body.

The guy and his kid reportedly argued loudly for 15 minutes on Friday night, according to witnesses. The house had been silent and dark ever since.

The deceased man’s wife claimed that she and their kid had previously lived in the home, but had left because her husband was an alcoholic. According to the mother, her son frequently got into arguments with his dad.

The son, then 19 years old, was taken into custody at a condo in the Thong Lor neighborhood under the direction of Pol Lt Col Prasert Chan-aksorn, deputy chief of the Klong Tan station. Bloody footwear was one of the items they discovered.

The young man was arrested on suspicion of murdering his father with a hammer that was discovered at the scene of the crime.

Rescue personnel reportedly visited the townhouse twice before to remove the son to a mental health facility. He flat-out refused to go.

The police had the suspect in custody for further investigation and prosecution. No one’s names were used.
