A 17-year-old boy, whose identity is being kept secret due to his age, was apprehended at a cinema in Sattahip while trying to sneak multiple knives into the screening of the movie “4Kings (Part 2).” Astonishingly, the film depicts violent culture among vocational school students in Thailand.
The police received a tip-off from the cinema’s security staff about the boy carrying weapons. When his bag was searched, authorities discovered a chisel, a sharp metal rod, a folding knife, and a box cutter. The suspect confessed that he had brought the weapons for self-defense, fearing that his rivals might show up seeking revenge.
The teenager has been charged with public possession of weapons and is currently in custody. The police have also alerted his parents about the incident.
