Banglamung police have arrested a tattoo artist caught with 100 grams of ketamine at his shop in the Banglamung district. The arrest followed a tip-off about a planned ketamine delivery intended for distribution at Pattaya’s nightlife venues.
After setting up surveillance, officers observed a man fitting the description of the suspect and conducted a search. They found a plastic zip-lock bag containing the ketamine hidden on him. The suspect, identified only as Mr. Anusorn, 23, admitted to selling ketamine for nearly seven months, explaining that he turned to drug dealing due to financial struggles as a single father and tattoo artist.
Anusorn revealed that he purchased the drugs from a supplier, known only as “Bow,” for 13,000 baht per 100 grams and resold it for 16,000 baht. Police also noted that Anusorn, an aspiring rapper, composed a song for the officers during questioning, claiming he had previously written music for well-known artists in Chonburi.
Anusorn has been charged with the unauthorized distribution of a Category 2 narcotic (ketamine) and will face legal action accordingly.
