Swiss Man Arrested in Pattaya After Viral Street Brawl
A Swiss man has been arrested in Pattaya following the circulation of a viral video showing him kicking a Thai national in the face during a late-night street altercation, reportedly triggered by a road rage incident.

The confrontation took place in the early hours of March 15th and was captured by a bystander before spreading widely on social media. The video shows the foreigner violently kicking the Thai individual, resulting in injuries.
Arrest and Investigation
At 1:06 PM on March 17th, Pattaya Police and Chonburi Immigration officers arrested the suspect, identified as 35-year-old Swiss national Mr. Buhler. He was apprehended at a residence in Soi Pratamnak.
During questioning, Mr. Buhler admitted to being the man in the video. He claimed that the altercation began after the Thai individual, whose identity remains unknown, accidentally hit him with a motorcycle. The situation escalated when the Thai national allegedly struck him with a helmet, leading to the violent exchange caught on camera.
Legal Proceedings
Mr. Buhler has been charged with assault and handed over to investigators for further legal action. Meanwhile, authorities are still searching for the Thai national involved to obtain his statement regarding the incident.
