The Thai Meteorological Department says there is a strong chance for very heavy rains the next two days in Pattaya and surrounding areas.
The Thai Meteorological Department has issued an announcement today, July 17th, 2019, for a weather warning for heavy rain and strong wind and waves in the south and in the east of Thailand affected until July 19.
A strong SouthWest monsoon prevails across the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand.
From today until July 19, tropical storm DANAS developed from the Pacific is likely to move through upper Luzon, the Philippines to Taiwan.
From 17-19 July, outbreaks of heavy rains are also possible for the South and the East regions. People should beware of potential severe conditions that may cause flash flood and water runoff.
The waves in the Andaman Sea will likely be 2-3 meters high and in the Gulf, about 3 meters high in thundershower areas. All ships should proceed with caution, and small boats keep ashore.

South (west coast): Ranong, Phang Nga, Phuket, Krabi, Trang, and Satun
18-19 July 2019 Isolated heavy rain highly possible for:
Central: Kanchanaburi, Ratchaburi, Nakhon Pathom, Samut Songkhram and Samut Sakhon, as well as Bangkok and its vicinity.
East: Chon Buri, Rayong, Chanthaburi, and Trat
South(east coast): Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Surat Thani,
Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung and Songkhla.
South (west coast): Ranong, Phang Nga, Phuket, Krabi, Trang, and Satun
