PATTAYA – A tragic accident occurred on Jomtien Second Road when a high-powered motorcycle struck two pedestrians, leaving one dead and two others injured.

The Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Rescue Center received a report of the accident and rushed to the scene, where they found a KTM 1200 cc big bike overturned and heavily damaged.

The motorcycle driver, identified as 26-year-old Artem Avdevv, sustained injuries, though his nationality remains unknown. The two pedestrians involved were a Russian couple—44-year-old Miss Zhanna Dzurova and her husband. While Dzurova suffered injuries, her husband was critically hurt. Rescue workers performed CPR, but despite their efforts, he succumbed to his injuries.

Eyewitness Mr. Arkhadech, 34, told authorities that he had stopped his car to allow the couple to cross the road when he heard the roar of a speeding motorcycle approaching from behind. Moments later, the bike crashed into the tourists, causing the fatal accident.

Authorities are investigating the incident to determine further legal action.
