In the New Year’s Day snowplow accident that kept him in the hospital for more than two weeks, “Avengers” star Jeremy Renner claims he shattered more than 30 bones.
Renner, who performs the role of superhuman archer Hawkeye in the Marvel film and television series “Universe,” uploaded a picture to Instagram with the caption:
On January 6, Jeremy Renner posted an update from the intensive care unit after being seriously hurt in a snow plow accident.
Outside my brain fog in recovery, I was very excited to watch episode 201 with my family at home 🙏❤️🙏— Jeremy Renner (@JeremyRenner) January 17, 2023
After a snowplow accident, Jeremy Renner celebrates his 52nd birthday in the hospital.
“New Year’s resolutions and morning workouts both changed this year. Initially motivated by the sorrow that befell my entire family, it quickly became unified, actionable love. I want to express my gratitude to EVERYONE for their kind words and consideration for my family and I. I love and appreciate you all very much. These more than 30 shattered bones will heal and become stronger, just as the love and connection with family and friends grows stronger. Regards and blessings to everyone.”
In the hospital, Renner turned 52. He suffered “blunt chest damage and orthopedic injuries” as a result of being hit by a snowplow while cleaning a driveway close to his Nevada home, according to his publicist, who previously told CNN.
He had two operations and received intensive care unit treatment.
On November 11, 2021, cast member Jeremy Renner will attend the Curzon Hoxton theater’s showing of Marvel Studios’ “Hawkeye.”

In a Twitter reply on Monday night, the “Mayor of Kingstown” actor said, “Outside my brain fog in recuperation, I was really happy to watch episode 201 with my family at home.
Renner was “totally crushed under a huge Snowcat (vehicle),” according to a 911 call log that CNN was able to get, and he was having “severe (difficulty) breathing.” “The right side of his chest has crumpled – his torso is crushed,” it continues.
As soon as Renner got out of the driver’s seat, the snow-clearing Snowcat, according to Washoe County Sheriff Darin Balaam, began to roll away.
