Police Bust Pattaya Nightclub

The Pattaya police carried out an extensive examination of the city’s service and entertainment facilities in an effort to enforce public safety regulations. The program was carried out in compliance with the commanding officer’s directives and was intended to stop illegal activity, specifically underage drinking and the operating of unregistered bars.

On February 3, at 1:30 a.m., law enforcement agents randomly inspected a number of entertainment establishments. Targeted was the “Area 39” venue on Pattaya Third Road, where more than a hundred people were discovered. Authorities made the facility turn off the music, switch on the lights, and ask everyone there for identification.

A 19-year-old female consumer was found during the ID check. She allegedly used a phony ID to get in, according to the venue management. Pol. Maj. Col. Aphinant Boonyarat’s preliminary inquiries led to the venue manager being called in for questioning.

Three charges have been brought against the manager: selling alcohol after hours, operating without authorization, and permitting entry to those under the age of twenty. Authorities have issued a warning to all Pattaya service and entertainment venue operators, stating that there will be ongoing random inspections and severe legal repercussions for any infractions.
