Pattaya Waitress Demands Justice After Brutal Street Attack
A Pattaya waitress is pleading for justice after she and two coworkers were viciously attacked by colleagues, only to be left without police action. The shocking assault, which took place in a busy tourist area, has raised concerns over law enforcement’s response to violent crimes.
Waitress and Colleagues Ambushed
On March 23, 2025, at 7:20 PM, 28-year-old Bua (surname withheld) was heading to work at an entertainment venue in Soi Pattaya 14 with her coworkers, 32-year-old Kritayanee and 23-year-old Thitikarn. As they arrived, they were suddenly ambushed by four fellow staff members from the same restaurant.
The attack was allegedly linked to an argument from the previous night that escalated into violence. Armed with glass bottles and pepper spray, the assailants struck the women on the head and sprayed their faces, creating chaos in front of stunned bystanders, including foreign tourists.
Injuries and Lack of Police Action
Bua suffered a severe head wound that required eight stitches, while her colleagues sustained injuries needing two to three stitches each. Despite video footage of the assault and multiple witnesses, Bua claims the police have made no progress in their investigation.
“It’s been days, and nothing has happened. We’re terrified they might come back to harm us again after work,” she said.
The suspects have since quit their jobs and vanished, leaving the victims feeling vulnerable and frustrated.
Calls for Justice
Bua is demanding authorities take immediate action to arrest and charge the attackers. “We want justice. We want them arrested and held accountable under the law,” she stated.
Her case has intensified public concern about law enforcement’s handling of violent crimes, particularly in Pattaya’s high-profile tourist zones. With clear video evidence and eyewitness testimonies, the victims now await justice as police face mounting pressure to act.
