The Pattaya Marathon is taking place this month, and more than 7,000 participants have signed up. Additionally, the city has added 2,000 spots for a free five-kilometer “fun run.”
According to Pattaya Deputy Mayor Kritsana Boonsawat, numerous foreign runners have signed up for the full 42.2-kilometer full marathon as well as the half marathon and quarter marathon on July 17.
For 2,000 fun-runners, registration only became available on July 1.
On July 17, the races will get underway early in front of Terminal 21.
For the race, Pattaya has already set up traffic, security, and medical teams.
