Pattaya Boosts Traffic Control Ahead of 2025 Music Festival

Pattaya traffic police have intensified efforts to tackle illegal parking and congestion in preparation for the highly anticipated Pattaya Music Festival 2025. The late-night operation focused on clearing obstructed roads and ensuring smooth traffic flow for residents and tourists.

At 1:06 AM on March 7th, Pol. Lt. Col. Panupong Nimsuwan, a traffic inspector at Pattaya Police Station, led a team of officers in cracking down on traffic violations. Their primary targets included illegally parked songthaews, taxis, and street vendors whose carts frequently contribute to congestion.

Beach Road, a known hotspot for illegal parking by songthaew and taxi drivers, was a key focus of the operation. Officers also monitored narrow alleyways near popular tourist areas, where street vendors often set up stalls, further worsening traffic conditions.

Pol. Lt. Col. Panupong emphasized that Pattaya traffic police are working tirelessly to reduce congestion. With the four-week Pattaya Music Festival 2025 approaching, an influx of tourists is expected, making effective traffic management a top priority.
