A foreign man was found dead after falling from a high-rise condominium in Pattaya
Authorities quickly responded to the scene at an undisclosed condominium along Thappraya Road in the Nongprue sub-district, Banglamung district, Chonburi province.
Upon arrival, they discovered the body of an unidentified foreign man, estimated to be between 40 and 50 years old, lying next to a Jeep in the condo’s parking lot. The man, who was completely naked, had apparently fallen from the 22-story building and landed on a Suzuki Ciaz sedan, damaging its windshield and caving in the hood.
Condominium staff were unable to identify the deceased or determine from which floor or room he had fallen.
According to 32-year-old condo receptionist, Mr. Thanabat Duangchan, he and others were chatting when they heard a loud noise. Initially thinking a transformer had exploded, they went to investigate and were shocked to find the man had fallen onto the sedan. Mr. Thanabat immediately notified the authorities.
The body was sent for an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death. Authorities are also working to identify the man and inform his relatives.
At this stage, it is unclear whether the fall was accidental or a suicide.
