Motorbike driver in Pattaya returns lost wallet with a 100,000 Baht

On Tuesday, June 27, a trustworthy motorbike taxi driver in Pattaya gave the misplaced wallet’s international owner back approximately 100,000 baht in cash.Mr. Chamnan Sawangsap, the 62-year-old driver of the Win, informed the local media that he found a misplaced wallet at his motorcycle taxi stand in front of Soi Buakhao 13 on Central Road.

He claimed that after returning from dropping off a passenger, he discovered the wallet lying on the ground. The wallet included a number of essential documents belonging to international nationals as well as US currency worth about 100,000 Thai baht.

After waiting for ten minutes in case the owner appeared, Mr. Chamnan made the decision to take the stolen wallet to the Pattaya Police Station in an effort to track down its true owner.

An unnamed foreign male arrived at the station shortly after Mr. Chamnan submitted a report and claimed to have lost his wallet. The man’s identification was verified by the paperwork, therefore the police gave him the wallet.

The overseas owner expressed gratitude to Mr. Chamnan for being truthful and returned his wallet even though he requested that his identity not be made public. Meanwhile, the Pattaya Win driver claimed that this money wouldn’t make him wealthy and that he wanted to be upfront. He still possessed the talents and capacities to support himself.
