Minister wants travellers from China, India, mid-risk countries back by April 1

Tourism and Sports Minister Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn will ask the Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) to allow nationals of more than 70 medium-risk countries – including China, India, Germany and Italy – to enter Thailand from April 1.

The request will be made at a CCSA meeting chaired by PM Prayut Chan-o-cha on March 19, which will also consider a Public Health Ministry proposal to relax travel restrictions.
